What We Do
We carry out outreach programs and awareness campaigns across Nigeria that include:
Menstrual Hygiene Education & Pad Distribution in schools and communities.
Emotional Wellness and Self-Care Workshops that build resilience and confidence.
Sex Education and Life Skills Sessions for responsible, informed choices.
Community Outreach Programs — sharing food, clothing, and hope with the less privileged.
Our Impact
Through our initiatives, we have reached hundreds of young people, distributed thousands of sanitary pads, and inspired communities to embrace kindness, empathy, and care.

My Catalyst Experience
My journey with De Deborah’s Tribe Foundation is rooted in the values of resilience, compassion, and generosity that my mother instilled in me. Growing up, our family faced significant challenges, including relocating from Cameroon to Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. This transition was incredibly difficult, and I witnessed firsthand my parents’ struggles to provide for our family.
Despite the hardships, my mother never gave up. She worked tirelessly, waking up early to sell food, oranges, and roasted corn to make ends meet. Her determination and selflessness inspired me, and I saw how she would prioritize others’ needs over our own. Even when we had barely enough to eat, she would share what little we had with others, demonstrating the importance of kindness and generosity.
One particular experience that stands out is when my sister and I asked my father why we were poor. His response was profound – he refurnished our home and got us a TV set to show us that we were not defined by our circumstances. This experience taught me the value of gratitude and the importance of looking beyond our own struggles.
As I grew older, I faced another challenge that shaped my passion for helping others. Managing menstruation with limited resources was a struggle my sister and I had endured, often having to use tissues during our period due to financial constraints. This experience was not only uncomfortable but also made me realize the difficulties many girls and women face in accessing proper menstrual hygiene products. This fueled my desire to ensure that no young girl has to face similar difficulties. Through De Deborah’s Tribe Foundation, I aim to provide essential support and resources, including sanitary pads and hygiene products, essential raw food items, sometimes healthy prepared meals, to those in need.
My mother’s influence, combined with my personal experiences, has shaped me into a person who wants to make a difference and impact. I believe that true blessings come from sacrifice, and I’m passionate about giving back to others, even when it’s not convenient. Through De Deborah’s Tribe Foundation, I aim to continue my mother’s legacy of kindness and compassion, providing support and resources to those in need. Together, we can create a brighter future for our community and inspire others to do the same.

How We Are Solving the Problem
Menstrual Hygiene Education
We organize workshops in schools and communities to educate young girls about menstrual hygiene and provide free sanitary pads, ensuring that no girl misses school because of her period.
Emotional Wellness
Through seminars, support groups, and one-on-one sessions, we promote emotional wellness and teach practical self-care habits that help young people build resilience and confidence.
Sex Education & Life Skills
We provide and make available age-appropriate sex education and life skills programs that equip young adults with the knowledge to make informed, responsible, and healthy choices.
Community Outreach
We collaborate with schools, health organizations, and volunteers to reach more young people and create a sustainable network of care, compassion, and mentorship.
